Khali – RVD – Santino – Cryme Tyme AND MORE!!

Sources say that the sudden return of Cryme Tyme was due to a directive telling WWE a few months ago they need more African-American wrestlers on there shows. On a side note Elijah

The Great Khali has been noted down to have made plans to open a wrestling school for children in India. This would explain why Khali was heading home to India for the first time in two years, he will be staying there for one month at the very least.

Some sad news for wrestling fans and RVD, his wife Sonya was diagnosed with Colon Cancer according to a post he made on his myspace. Sonya ad RVD have both tried to make it clear to people that anyone could get this, Sonya being a healthy 32 year old, lean and active the two found it a unexpected surprise. Sonya has surgery scheduled for this week to get it removed, I wish her all the best.

Indy wrestler Ken Theissen is in the lead to be Santino Marella’s new bodyguard, he has done work in the WWE so he is no stranger to this, Al Barone is the other possible option for Santino.  On a side note, Maria made the world’s 100 most sexiest women at number 84, Stacy Keibler also made the cut at an impressive 64.

The Great Khali has lately been facing knee problems, he may have to undergo knee surgery which will put him out for three months. Khali is however as I mentioned before going to India for a month so he may not have to go through the surgery.

Wrestlemania 24 (XXIV) DVD sales have come to 1.1million 700,000 have been from North America, this has put Wrestlemania 24 as the second most popular PPV in history. WWE is also now on the hunt for more African-American wrestlers, after losing Marcos Cor Von, Boogeyman, Booker T and Bobby Lashley WWE now needs to find more.

Matt Hardy – Back From Injury

Hey guys, While watching the Wrestlemania 24 PPV, the Money-In-The-Bank ladder match was interrupted by a returning fully fit Matt Hardy. Just as MVP tried to grab the suitcase, Matt Hardy made a huge return and stunned a packed crowd of 70,000 at Wrestlemania giving MVP a twist of fate from the top of the ladder, allowing CM punk and Chris Jericho to battle it out (ending in a CM Punk win).

We will now see how Matt goes and if he gets a title shot for the United States Championship against MVP. That’s all for now, remember to come back tomorrow for a new post on Ric Flair’s career.
